Hugs For Shelter Pets is a volunteer program founded by Katherine Mikshenas. The mission of the program is to improve the well being of shelter animals through the ongoing support of prayer, visiting and kind interaction with shelter animals , sharing online links of animals available for adoption on Animal Hugs and Blessings, Twitter and Facebook; gathering donations of blankets, pet food, pet toys and necessary supplies for animal shelters.
