Operation Blankets Of Love

Operation Blankets of Love is an emergency response team that saves lives by comforting animals in shelters, foster homes, animal sanctuaries and rescue organizations with blankets. Studies show that blankets help to comfort animals, help animals relax, help animals feel safe and secure. Comforting animals with blankets helps to increase the opportunity to be adopted. Most budgets do not include or have little money to provide comfort to animals. Imagine being alone, not knowing any love and having to sleep on a cold cement floor!

You can be of assistance by donating recycled blankets, towels, or other needed items listed on the website. You can also help by volunteering and monetary donations. Please visit the website for more information at Operation Blankets Of Love.

I embrace the mission of Operation Blankets Of Love and all homeless animals in God's purest love. May all be blessed in God's very best.

Pennies Of Love

There used to be a time in my life when I was afraid of Pit Bulls. The term Pit Bull is not even a breed. American Staffordshire Terrier, American Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Terrier mixes were named the slang term Pit Bull because these precious dogs were used for dog fighting in the pits. Like a lot of uninformed people I thought Pit Bulls were vicious. I have never met a more gentle loving breed. Shame on me for judging a breed before being educated!

Not long ago I was visiting an animal shelter in my area. There I met Penny, a beautiful. deep copper colored American Bull Terrier. Her lonely eyes revealed her fear of being there. She had just come into the shelter and I was not able to visit with her in her kennel or take her for a walk. I stood there for about 30 minutes. I gently talked to her and told her she was beautiful. She walked up to the gate of the kennel and gently kissed my hand. Her gentle touch melted my heart. Here she was shaking with fear but still managed to come over to me and gently kiss my hand. Penny is my inspiration for starting an ongoing, family penny drive to help rescue these precious dogs.

The goal for this penny drive is for my family members and me to raise one million pennies for these dogs. All money raised will go directly to Shorty's Pit Bull Rescue of Los Angeles, CA. Shorty Rossi has dedicated his life to rescuing these precious dogs. His television series Pit Boss has helped to inspire me and educate me on the loving truth of this beautiful breed of dogs. I can't think of a better person to reach out and help these precious dogs.

If you are able, please consider helping Shorty help these gentle dogs. Every penny counts. Together we can make a great difference in the lives of these dogs in need. To donate or for more information please visit Shorty's website at: Shorty's Pit Bull Rescue.

God bless you. May all be blessed in God's very best.

The Blessing Way For All Animals

The Blessing Way was created by Kate Nowak in 2006. She began an experiment to bless one million people. Her experiment continues after millions have been blessed with the movie, May You Be Blessed. Please visit her website to learn more about The Blessing Way and download the movie. You will be blessed, profoundly! The Blessing Way.

Inspired by Kate Nowak I have begun The Blessing Way For All Animals. The philosophy of The Blessing Way For All Animals is: All animals are loved. All animals are blessed. All animals are a blessing. God is Love. Love heals all things, is the one true answer to all things and holds the best for all things.

To bless all animals is to simply send forth God's best to each animal on this earth. A blessing is created by love, promotes healing and brings forth good to each recipient. Animals do not have the reasoning humans have but animals have the innocence and unconditional love that comes from God's perfect love. With the intention to embrace each animal in God's very best, a blessing of God's best goes forth and each animal is held in God's purest love.

I invite you to join me on The Blessing Way For All Animals.

Embracing all animals and the people that love and care for them in God's purest love. May all be blessed in God's very best.
