In 2009, Pack Life Organization of Central Maine, USA, was founded by Cassie Lang and Chris Manson. After participating in several fundraisers for non profit animal groups Cassie and Chris decided to branch out on their own to better serve animal organizations in fund raising, educating the public on responsible pet ownership, spaying and neutering efforts and positive reinforcement training. Through their work Cassie and Chris work towards creating a world where No Dog is Left Behind, and the cruel crisis surrounding unwanted dogs is demolished.
In the month of October, 2010, Cassie and Chris organized a Pet Food Drive in Central Maine. Over 1100 pounds of cat and dog food were collected to feed hungry pets in Maine. Food was distributed to food pantries to assist in keeping pets home and out of shelters. Pack Life also maintains an ongoing supply of food to distribute as needed to families in need and to households fostering rescue animals.
Pack Life works with local businesses and partners with local animal organizations. Pack Life is in the process of becoming a 501c3 non profit organization.
