Story Of The Week

Christo

This week has been out of control, crazy! We have had computer trouble, both my husband and I have horrible colds and my dog has decided she is afraid to go out because of hunters in the area. This morning I was ready to pull my hair out and run away! Instead I prayed for God to send me a little sign of hope.

Within minutes of my desperate prayer, a little bird appeared on my front porch. I stood there looking out the window and it was almost like the bird was looking right into my heart. I began to feel calmer and stood still for a bit. All I wanted at that moment was to watch the little bird. The bird stayed with me for about 10 minutes then flew on its way.

I have always been intrigued with animals and birds. They have given me so much comfort and joy! I believe God can talk to us through the beauty of animals and birds. I am so very grateful for my new little friend, Christo. I named him Christo because it reminds me to be Christlike to all people and to all little animal and bird friends. God bless you, Christo for showing me that God is with me, always.

God bless all animals and the people that love them.
